Introduction to SOLIDWORKS, 3D Printing and Scanning
Join us in Limerick for a complimentary, in-person seminar introducing SOLIDWORKS Design, along with an overview of 3D printing and 3D scanning technologies used in modern design and product development.
This session is designed for organisations and individuals exploring how professional 3D design tools can support better decisions earlier in the design process, reduce iteration, and create clearer links between concept and manufacture.
What the Session Covers
Through live demonstrations, we’ll show how SOLIDWORKS is used to create accurate 3D geometry, build assemblies, generate manufacturing drawings, and check fit and function before anything is physically produced.
We’ll also cover
SOLIDWORKS training and
certification pathways, explaining how structured learning supports long term capability, and introduce 3D printing and scanning to show how these technologies fit into prototyping, product development, and design validation workflows.
There is plenty of opportunity throughout the morning to ask questions and discuss real-world use cases with our technical team.
Who Should Attend
This seminar is suitable for business leaders, engineers, designers, and technical decision makers who are new to SOLIDWORKS, reviewing their current design tools, or interested in understanding how 3D printing and scanning can support development and prototyping. No prior SOLIDWORKS experience is required.
Register Your Place
Attendance is free, but registration is required. All attendees will receive access to a 30-day SOLIDWORKS trial and have the opportunity to speak directly with SOLIDWORKS Certified Engineers during the event.
